The genre has later expanded to major label companies, and there’s an eternal quarrel on whether the band can call itself indie if the publisher is known by more than 20 persons. We have decided to end the war, and place bands like Belle & Sebastian, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys and The xx all under the indie category. It’s all decided for you now.
